You will work closely with a team of manager-level business developers, while also partnering with key leadership stakeholders as they expand client services and networks. Your primary responsibility in addition to creating a great strategic platform will be to bring in new revenue as a lead generator.Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership: Lead the growth and expansion of all Advisory service lines, with a strong focus on Valuation, by developing and implementing strategic plans that align with CBIZ's overall goals.Team Coaching: Coach and mentor manager-level business developers to maximize their potential and foster a culture of continuous improvement.Client Engagement: Collaborate with directors and managing directors to expand client services, build relationships, and identify opportunities for growth.Revenue Generation: Act as a lead generator by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to increase revenue.Partnership Development: Work closely with regional and industry ambassadors to establish and nurture key partnerships that drive growth.Marketing and Sales Tools: Utilize expansion tools created by our marketing and sales team to support business development efforts and ensure that client needs are at the forefront of our service offerings.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).Proven experience in strategic planning and business development.Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.In-depth knowledge of Valuation and Advisory services.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.Results-oriented, with a track record of achieving revenue growth targets.Strategic thinker with a focus on long-term objectives.
Minimum Qualifications RequiredBachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in Accounting, Taxation or related field preferred8 years of experience in public accounting or related field6 years supervisory experienceMust have active CPA or e uivalent certificationAbility to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as necessaryProficient use of applicable technologyDemonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externallyProven high level of business integrity, client service and leadership skillsMust be able to travel based on client and business needs
