The Director of Business Development - TCS, will have commercial growth responsibility for North America on TCS innovation products. They will be responsible for seeking out new business opportunities through customer relationships, TCS component opportunities, and seat assembly opportunities. This position will also require leadership to logically work through issues, understand general market and trends and provide strategic feedback to assist in decision making for the sales organization.
Job ResponsibilitiesIdentify and develop new TCS business opportunitiesCoordination of opportunities and quotations with TCS component and seating JIT teamsProspecting new business and direct interface with internal and external customersPreparation of quotations and follow up for new business awardsProviding insight and direction on customer market trends and strategyIdentify key decision makers at potential customers and develop business relationships to secure new businessAchieve targeted sales growth and roadmaps for continued improvementClose alignment with TCS innovation engineering and costing teamsRequirementsA track record of obtaining new business and business developmentTechnical understanding of seating, trim, and TCS products and manufacturing preferredStrong business and financial understanding to guide team on strategic direction for growth opportunities and footprint expansionExperience introducing new products or expanding into a new marketExhibit professionalism and an ability to interact with customers, senior management, and various departments throughout the companyBachelor's degree
