Clark College is currently accepting applications for a full-time, exempt Director of Assessment and Institutional Research. This position reports to the Associate Vice President for Planning and Effectiveness. The Director of Assessment and Institutional Research is responsible for the collection, analysis, and evaluation of data for assessment, strategic planning, and internal and external reporting. This role also provides leadership for assessment activities in instructional and non-instructional areas to ensure compliance with Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU).The work location is at the Clark College main campus Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, with remote work on Thursday and Friday. Coordinate outcomes assessment planning and reporting processes for instructional and non-instructional areas.Maintain oversight of the assessment functions of the college to meet the standards of national accreditor, Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU). Support reporting for strategic planning, accreditation, institutional research, and assessment.Assist in building and maintaining data visualization tools (Tableau) to support the strategic plan and assessment process.Assist with data collection and evaluation for grants and enrollment.Oversee internal research and data reporting.Provide leadership over external and internal data collection.Serve as the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) keyholder and manage process to provide data to other government agencies as required by law.Update the college's statistical profile. Oversee and support the development and regular institutional reports on enrollment, persistence, retention, graduation, and equity metrics.Work with various campus constituents to facilitate usage of institutional data for assessment and strategic planning in alignment with the Clark College mission.Assist faculty, administrators, and staff in constructing datasets and merging data from a variety of sources; determining and executing appropriate statistical and qualitative analyses; and summarizing and reporting on findings.Provide support for the development, administration, and reporting of campus surveys.Provide professional development on equity in assessment practices and data analysis and interpretation.Develop resources for the campus community on assessment, survey research, and data analysis and interpretation.Serve as an administrator for departmental software.Serve as member of designated College committees, councils, and teams.Prepare reports and analytical materials to illustrate the activities and accomplishments of the department.Develop and update policies and procedures for assessment and institutional research.Provide leadership in accordance with the Mission, Vision, Values, and tenets established by the College to achieve mission fulfillment.Facilitate transparency, ethics, compliance, and quality, Ensure areas of responsibility function within the policies and procedures of the College and applicable governing agencies.Engage in and promote shared governance.Exercise effective stewardship over college resources.Create a safe, bias-free working environment, which engenders respect for differences.Train, supervise, and evaluate employees in accordance with negotiated agreements, applicable state and federal laws, and College policies and procedures.Perform other related duties as assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
