Job Description
Position Overview
The Director will provide operational oversight for Invenergy\'sThird-Party NERC Support Services program. In this role, the Directorwill be responsible for ensuring non-Invenergy owned operating projectsremain equipped to demonstrate compliance through internal controls,enhanced workflow processes, and performance metrics. Based out of ourdowntown Chicago office, the Director will use their engineering andcyber security acumen, regulatory compliance administration, andrelationship management expertise to fulfil the job responsibilities,with limited managerial oversight and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
Independently drive end-to-end planning, coordination, and executionof assigned deliverables supporting NERC compliance monitoringactivities (693 and CIP) for third party owned assetsPartner with business development leaders to structure and negotiatecompliance support servicesLead onboarding compliance readiness efforts and periodic reportingfor new projectsProvide regulatory and technical assistance to Asset OwnersDevelop and maintain KPIs that reflect program performanceSupport the development, implementation, and monitoring of internalcontrolsDevelop a team of professionals to support program objectivesPerform other job-related duties as assignedRequired Skills
Bachelor\'s degree or higher education7+ years of demonstrated direct NERC program leadership experience(693 and CIP)3+ years of managing direct reports3+ years of relationship management leadership experienceExcellent conflict resolution skills and ability to foster lastingcustomer relationshipsDemonstrated ability to use independent judgement to identify and tosolve complex problemsDemonstrated ability to timely comprehend and navigate complexbusiness contractsAdvanced organizational, presentation/facilitation, andverbal/written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills with the desire to work in a fast-pacedenvironment and meet deadlinesProficient in the use of Microsoft Office products, KPI software,and Adobe AcrobatPreferred Skills
5+ years of experience in technical power plant operations and/ordesignAdvanced degree in Management, Business Law, Engineering, or relateddiscipline with an engineering/power system focus and/or equivalentindustry experience.Willingness to travel between 25-30%.Benefits
