We are on the search for our newest team member the Director, Key Accounts to join our Dover Motion team based on the East Coast, USA. Responsible for creating brand awareness, establishing Dover Motion as SME in Motion Control and driving revenue growth in named Motion Control Key Accounts.
The Director - Key Accounts will build brand awareness and develop strong working relationships with decision-makers and influencers within key accounts to enable the achievement of sales objectives in the Motion Control segment. This person will need to be an energised sales executive, strategic problem solver and relationship builder. The role requires cross-functional influential leadership skills and the ability to clearly articulate the Dover value proposition. The objective of this role is to map out key accounts; develop relationships with decision makers; and subsequently close complex, long term sales opportunities for Dover.
Key Accountabilities:
Map out large, complex, multi-level organizations and strategize best ways in which to establish relationships and identify potential opportunities.
Expand the relationships with existing key customers by understanding pain points and continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives.
Develop and implement a Key Account strategy and execution plan to enhance visibility and engagement and establish Dover as experts in Motion Control.
Develop maximum sales potential out of Key Accounts through relationship building, prospecting, regular follow ups, organized sales techniques.
Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams.
Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and take care of complaints to build and maintain trust.
Update SalesForce to include key influencers and decision makers, key contact progress and forecasts; track key account metrics (i.e F2F meetings).
Actively participate in Fortive Business System (FBS) events to frame and drive process improvements.
Be an active member of the Dover commercial team, enthusiastically engaging in strategy development, problem-solving, and other initiatives.

Education & Experience
Minimum of Bachelors degree-level qualifications in a relevant field such as business or engineering; Post graduate qualifications such as MBA desirable.
Extensive exposure to, and success in, a dynamic, growth-oriented business environment; minimum of 15 years of experience post-graduation.
Knowledge of Motion Control and Automation markets desired.
Deep track-record of sales execution and relationship development.
First-hand knowledge of all aspects of sales including strategy, prospecting, key account management, funnel management, value selling, relationship selling.
High level competency in business management, financial acumen and contracting.
Experience that suggest an ability to hit ground running in a matrixed organization.
