  What you'll do:

  Establish new / cultivate existing relationships across key publisher organizations (i.e. BuzzFeed, Washington Post, Conde Nast, etc.)Build strategic business plans with key publisher partners for overall growth in transparent access, addressability, decisioning and bottom line revenue.Monitor industry trends and be able to communicate to partners The Trade Desk's positionEvangelize and support adoption of identity strategies and addressability, including but not limited to Unified ID 2.0Evangelize and support adoption of clean supply including : adoption of existing and new IAB standards and signals, importance of mechanics of SPO, role and value of OpenPath.Establish and grow programmatic inventory access & value of decisioning with all publisher partners across various points of distributionLead contract negotiations with publisher partners across initiativesCoordinate with Inventory Management and Technical Account Management for successful cross-team support and growth of partnershipsUnderstand and communicate TTD's value proposition and technology

  Who you are:

  Bachelors Degree7+ years of programmatic experience in publisher business development for SSPs, data companies, media companies, or other related organizationsTrack record of closing dealsEstablished relationships with decision-makers at top digital publishers; deep understanding of the sell side of digital advertisingExperience collaborating across Sales, Account Management, Product, Marketing, Legal & Finance teamsSelf-starter able to seek new partnerships or initiatives, and lead a project from start to finishExperience building and delivering on strategic partnerships goalsBias toward ownership and actionExperience leading both short-term and mid-term sales/partnership cyclesAbility to rapidly grasp new technology and product changes; comfort with complex conceptsStrong quantitative skills and negotiation abilitiesProven communication, questioning, and listening skills in formal and informal settings

  NY, CO, CA, and WA residents only: In accordance with NY, CO, CA, and WA law, the range provided is The Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year. Employees can also purchase The Trade Desk stock at a discount through The Trade Desk's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

  At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is$147,000-$269,500 USD
