POSITION SUMMARY:
The Director of Integrated design and planning solutions creates vision and strategy around systems and processes aligning with the PVH Americas business objectives.
The Director of Integrated design and planning solutions will provide leadership to implement, support, and improve the company's planning and design systems. This role partners closely with business leadership, business process team and owners, business and technical subject matter experts, project managers, other directors, and technical leaders to deliver and maintain these systems.
The Director, Integrated design and planning solutions, will lead the team accountable for specific solutions in demand planning, supply planning, merchandise financial planning, assortment planning, and product lifecycle management. Lead the product management and project management within the business solutions team to design and deliver technology solutions to meet rapidly changing business landscape. Partner with multiple IT project teams to design and deliver technology solutions to meet our rapidly evolving Americas planning and PLM roadmaps.
Solution Owners are the go-to leaders for both employees and clients, able to answer any question and manage any task. Solutions Owners are the super-glue to all teams, entrenched in the projects at a detailed level, serving as the change drivers. Solutions Owners need to possess a multilingual proficiency in project management, functional requirements, development, architecture, QA, UX, DevOps, consulting, and whatever other field is needed to drive the roadmaps forward.
The role will cover the following solution areas for the Americas regions:
Integrated Business planning
Product lifecycle management
In this role, you typically lead several projects at a time and as a leading member of each project team, often as a product owner. You will be the direct liaison between TPG and business partners across PVH brands, and will drive the execution of the roadmap for Americas Integrated Business Planning and Product Lifecycle Management. You will also work collaboratively with the engineering & global platform teams to deliver scalable and high-quality technology solutions that unlock business value.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
Participate in the development of IT Strategic business solutions plan; review business process mapping, analyses, and system changes across multiple business groups. Ensure team members' adherence to compliance and that established software solutions address business demands.
Identify opportunities for increased efficiency through new tools and techniques, including other necessary modifications needed due to regulations within a respective country or region. Formulate innovative solutions to achieve these milestones.
Be the primary business point of contact for all requests and activities, leveraging the governance processes for prioritization and management
Product management through entire lifecycle, including story gathering, defining done, building for outcomes, reporting on effectiveness through analysis & financial management.
Partner with engineering, global product & platform teams, and business stakeholders to evaluate technology platforms and support build / buy / partner recommendations
Provide project management and technical leadership, coaching and mentoring to team members
Review and manage resource assignments based on project priorities. Support project leads with determining accurate estimates for project planning.
Coordinate inter-department activities in regards to business process and/or applications changes.
Collaborate with design, product development, merchandising, marketing and operations business partners to review applications' effectiveness. Present solutions to IT management.
Conduct feasibility studies and provide recommendations for platforms / software systems to purchase. Oversee the creation of functional specifications to realize current and future business capabilities.

Specific requirements for Director, Integrated Design and Planning Solutions include:
Stay abreast of industry trends in order to proactively identify areas for growth, improvement, and development with the capability to implement industry best practices at PVH.
Provide direction relating to business solutions for applications across brands for the PVH Planning and PLM landscape in the Americas.
Partner with stakeholders in business units to cross-train and promote adoption of capabilities implemented by PVH IT.
Showcase a deep understanding of the PVH planning businesses and systems architecture from both a process and technology perspective to unlock the next generation of commercial opportunities.
Facilitate scope planning exercises with respective brand(s) to understand and plan for IT capital investments and associated business and IT expenses needed to support the business unit through the fiscal year.
Lead the business solutions team. Create an environment conducive to training and developing.
Direct business solutions activities across brands and/or regions for project management, requirements, technical specifications, testing, and strategic planning.
Drive technology initiatives on-time and within budget in alignment with PVH PMO standards.
Collaborate on, maintain, and represent the multi-year resource planning for one or more teams.
Participate in, as a valued contributor, and help drive the development of the multi-year roadmap for programs and projects within your domain.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience:
Minimum of 8 years of experience in designing and developing Integrated business planning solutions\ for a large enterprise, preferably in apparel industry.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in people management.

Education:
Bachelor's degree required, in any relevant business, liberal arts, STEM, or technology/engineering disciplines
Graduate degree preferred
Skills:
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of IT functional design and implementation.
Knowledge of system data and capabilities with ability to develop creative solutions and generate accurate business reporting.
Effectively lead teams and plan projects / tasks.
Ability to analyze resources needed to meet objectives and solve problems.
Robust experience with Fashion/Apparel/Retail Industry
Excellent analytical, conceptual thinking, strategic planning, and execution skills to drive organizational change.
Ability to articulate complex ideas, comprehend written and verbal communications, and possess excellent presentation skills.
Interface directly with varied business teams to provide feedback on what business users are asking for, current service, solution offerings as well as new service, solution offerings that compliment company and/or brand strategies.
Ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization; Strong customer, quality, and results orientation.
Ability to articulate complex ideas, comprehend written and verbal communications, and possess excellent presentation skills.

Has formal budgetary responsibilities for capital projects
Manages invoice processing for capital and expense budgets, and all monthly finance estimates and accruals

Make decisions on business application improvements. Determine IT resource allocation for Business Solutions groups.

Ensure that all business solutions address business demands and are both reliable and cost effective. Requires strong communication skills and the ability to foster teamwork across multiple groups and/or regions. Creative problem solver who can negotiate and influence decisions.
