Director, Head of Construction Liability
The role:
We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated and leading industry professional to continue the development of an already successful team of self-motivated highly performing individuals, who already have a market leading reputation in the construction liability arena.
With overall responsibility for a growing team of currently 9 colleagues, you will maintain and improve on the high performance culture. Responsibilities will include expenditure control, technical and personal development of colleagues, quality control and oversight on client development and thought leadership.
You will have/will be:
ACII/ACILA and/or significant progress towards a distinct advantage
Demonstrable experience of running high performance teams, understanding the challenges that this brings
A highly motivated individual who can work with senior leaders in the team and within the wider business
A profile within the insurance industry and proven track record in client liaison
Presentation skills for both an internal and external audience
An innovator who looks at future trends and seeks to adapt the business accordingly
Capable of strategic thinking and then able to execute agreed strategic plans
An ability to embrace digital technologies for the enhancement of the business
Technical skills befitting the Head of a highly technical team, handling a wide variety of construction liability losses
Full UK driving licence essential
