If you're passionate about developing your career, while helping others along the way, come join the Broadridge team.Accounting closeManage the monthly accounting close across respective responsibilities for the GTO segment, with appropriate focus on the balance sheet and areas where significant judgments and estimates are needed/used for accounting purposesDemonstrate ownership and command of details and explanations for the respective responsibilities within the GTO U.S. balance sheetWork with internal and external auditorsTransactionalReview activities performed by shared service teams (reconciliations, journal entries, fixed assets, accounts payable, leases)Review client contracts and prepare accounting position memos for review by the Accounting policy teamLeadership

  Serve as the key accounting contact for the GTO FP&A team;Collaborate with FP&A / business unit management on the budget and forecasting process by providing financial analysis and insights to support the development of budgetsDrive visibility and provide the right accounting support for transactions or activities that require significant judgments and estimatesSEC reporting and Accounting Policy AssistanceAssist the SEC Reporting team in the quarter-end external reporting process, reviewing the 10-K/10-Q's and Statutory financial statements as it relates to the GTO businessDiscuss significant transactions and accounting policy questions; operationalize the accounting for the key policy decisions madeInternal Controls & Process Improvement:For areas under responsibility, ensure a strong internal control environment exists and handle compliance with the Broadridge Sarbanes-Oxley programIdentify areas for process improvement and resolve accordingly (re-engineer, automate, simplify, standardize)Participate in special projects related to GTO, including but not limited to:Digital transformation of Finance reporting systemsAutomation of systems and processesQualifications:CPA required5 - 10 years of experience, including public accounting and/or public company accounting experienceStrong accounting experience in areas of GAAP, including revenue recognition, internally developed softwareExperienced with internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley complianceExcellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally across the GTO and Finance organizationsAbility to prioritize and re-prioritize work in a dynamic business environment; highly organized and persistent in order to get things doneBroadridge associates helped us envision our Connected Workplace, a work model that allows associates around the globe to take advantage of the benefits of both on-site and off-site work to support our clients, one another, and the communities where we live and work.
