　　Summary:

　　The Director of Finance keeps the leadership team and the Board advised of the organization's current financial position and operating performance and of trends that could impact the Foundation.

　　Oversees budgeting and information systems.

　　Manages the Foundation's assets including real estate and oversees the investment of the Foundations' funds, analyzing and maintaining internal controls to ensure safeguards exist.

　　The Director of Finance supervises and performs various daily accounting functions to ensure timely, accurate recording of financial transaction.

　　The Director will directly supervise the Financial Services Coordinator and the Information Services Manager and will be responsible for overseeing the daily processing and posting of cash receipts and disbursements, recording of receivables and payables, computing and recording of deferred gifts and the creation of general ledger adjustments as necessary in a manner consistent with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Financial Accounting Standards.

　　Serves as Foundation Compliance Officer.

　　Additional Required Skills include knowledge of not-for-profit accounting principles, administrative practices, policies and standards, and the ability to translate complex financial information into laymen's language.

　　Required - 5 years - Accounting; Or - 5 years - Finance;

　　Preferred - 2 years - Non-profit

　　Required - Bachelors - Accounting; Or - Bachelors - Finance; Or - Bachelors - Related FieldCredentials:
