The opportunity
The Director of Data Resources will lead the management and alignment of all Global Commercial Data and Company-wide Information Resources. In collaboration with all functions and regions, this includes evaluation, organization, awareness, access, and training of these resources. This role will also leverage data and resources to deliver and support corporate data needs and ad-hoc requests.
How you’ll spend your day
Foster a strategic partnership with IQVIA to deliver centralized external data, technology tools, to ensure that value is optimized by this partnership, overseeing the overall spend on International, National, Custom data, and other IQVIA offerings.
Delivers a reporting & analytics system that provides comprehensive, tailored dashboards to key stakeholders and business partners as well as the ability to analyze/interrogate data to answer ad hoc questions
Addresses ad hoc business questions by utilizing technology content expertise to interrogate various data within analytical platforms such as IQVIA SMART, IQVIA Analytics Link, other Information Resources subscriptions, etc.
Lead the management of Global Commercial and Scientific Information Resources subscriptions across Teva
Manage the annual Information Resources budget and strategic partnerships with over 50 suppliers
Continuous evaluation of current or new offerings to optimize the information resource mix
Manage InfoNOW SharePoint portal to ensure all relevant resources are available through the portal as well as ensure content is current
Drive awareness and utilization across Commercial and R&D business units by providing training and support to internal stakeholders
Leverage secondary resources to deliver ad-hoc product and market assessments, market sizing and competitive landscape research
Manage service tasks for global organization to assure appropriate access and training of the information resources and/or any other ad-hoc requests
Partner with R&D knowledge management team
Your experience and qualifications
Required - Degree level: Bachelors in Business or Science OR a related field/equivalent education
Minimum 8 years of pharmaceutical industry experience in Business Intelligence, secondary data analysis or related consultative role within healthcare, life sciences pharmaceuticals
Strong knowledge of Global IQVIA data offerings and associated tools
Strong knowledge of various pharma secondary data resources, i.e. Clarivate, Informa, Evaluate Pharma, etc.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and various analytical tools
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate at different levels within the organization and with external partners/suppliers
Extensive project management skills, including organizational and multi-tasking
