Overview
This role is responsible for the delivery, management, and development of data solutions and data operations, software, integrations, and applications that support customers and employees according to business needs. As a member of the IT leadership team, this role is influential in making investments and decisions, selecting and managing vendor contracts, and recruiting and developing high performing teams.
Responsibilities
Establish and lead a collaborative software development approach based on Agile and DevSecOps that improves velocity, while maintaining a strong focus on both quality and scalability through technical delivery teamsImplement technology development, integration, and quality assurance/testing toolsDrive the cultural changes necessary to enable a continuous integration/continuous deployment model and foster a strong focus on automation of the Systems Development Life Cycle through platform DevOps teamsCollaborate with the Strategy and Innovation Enablement team to ensure alignment of innovation and executionPartner with product owners and technical leads to influence scope and priorities for developmentEnsure effective enterprise data execution and operations with commensurate controlsPlan, assign and evaluate the work of staff/vendors, screen and select candidates, provide guidance and coaching, establish individual goals and objectives, monitor volume, workflow and quality, manage performance to include conducting performance appraisals, make pay recommendations, partner with Human Resources to resolve employment related issues
Qualifications
EducationBachelor Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty: Data Management, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related. (Required)Master Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty: Data Management, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related. (Preferred)Required Experience12 or more years Software development experience delivering high-quality software products and solutions.10 or more years Technical managerial experience with proven delivery success.5 or more years Experience with data operations and delivery.5 or more years Agile / DevSecOps experience.5 or more years SalesForce DevOps experience.5 or more years Financial institution experience.Required Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesProficient and demonstrated success with SDLC methodologiesBroad and current knowledge of the technology software development domainIntegrations - APIs and custom developmentExperience with Salesforce platformExcellent communication skills to build and maintain relationshipsExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsFinancial Institution Business acumen
