　　Purpose:

　　Reporting to the VP, Reinsurance Pricing, this role supports the development and review of pricing and other analytical models and the management of active and prospective M&A and reinsurance transactions.

　　Accountabilities:

　　Analyze and model asset strategies for potential M&A and reinsurance transactions across various geographies.

　　Work with hedging team to develop and implement any derivative overlays.

　　Develop and implement quantitative models to assess risk exposure, with a specific focus on market risks.

　　Perform stress testing and scenario analysis to evaluate robustness of asset strategy.

　　Validate and enhance existing quantitative models.

　　Stay abreast of market trends and regulatory changes.

　　Collaborate with investment, risk, legal and tax managers when underwriting transactions.

　　Assist in the review of reinsurance term sheets and treaties.

　　Qualifications and Experience:

　　Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Finance, or related field.

　　5+ years of experience in the life insurance / reinsurance industry or investment banking background with significant experience in the financial services / insurance sector.

　　Career Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) or FSA designation; in absence of an actuarial designation, consideration given to candidates who have a CFA, FRM or a masters/Ph.D in a quantitative discipline.

　　Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage several projects.

　　Demonstrated leadership qualities and strong written and verbal communication skills.

　　Programming experience such as Python, C++ or R.

　　Exhibit dedication to completing tasks thoroughly and on time, including under time pressures and outside normal working hours.

　　Ability to view “big picture”, understand broad corporate impacts, and focus on company objectives.

　　$168,640.00 - $252,960.00 USD Annual

　　Annual Salary for this role is market competitive. Actual salary for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Depending on the role, a discretionary bonus plan or variable sales incentive may be included.
