The Director of Commercial Effectiveness & Capabilities for Market Access Strategic Accounts will be accountable for providing strategic, operational and capabilities leadership to the US Market Access Strategic Accounts VP and team.
This role is a unique leadership role, requiring exceptional learning agility, can-do/problem-solving mindset and strong matrix/cross-functional leadership skills, inclusive of influencing, executive communication, relationship building and conflict management skills. Project management and the ability to align conflicting priorities/move the organization forward will be instrumental for success.
Responsibilities
-Active member and close collaboration with Strategic Accounts (SA) Leadership Team.-Act as liaison with other executives and key stakeholders to ensure consistent communication and involvement of colleagues within and outside of SA (e.g. with Therapy Business Units or functions within Market Access) to roll out key initiatives such as access journeys and quarterly business reviews.-Lead full team and leadership team meetings to ensure effective use of time, promote quality of decision making, focus on business-critical topics, capture follow-up actions and hold others accountable to execute on actions within the agreed timelines.-Member of US Commercial Operations LT (OPLT). Pull through relevant information to Strategic Accounts.-Strongly collaborate and coordinate with Commercial Effectiveness Directors for Market Access Strategy, Operations & Analytics, and Patient Services to effectively prioritize and align in-house vs customer-facing teams' business needs. Strongly collaborate with functional partners such as finance, compliance, legal and HR to pull through relevant information and solutions at the right time-Lead incentive compensation execution working closely with FVPs and Incentive Compensation team.-Create, refine and embed business improvement/planning tools including quarterly roadmaps and priorities for SA, visual controls and accountability boards as needed.-Own Key Strategic Account Resourcing and measurement.Establish Account segmentation, account capabilities and define areas of partnership.-Manage and oversee compliance/risk for SA (incl. SOP management and process oversight) in collaboration with Compliance business partner.-Support/oversee field operations for SA team led by admin/ROA: field maps and rosters, internal team site management, budget management, training scheduling-Interlocked with corporate, BU/IBCT leads and above brand strategy (ie health equity) with ability to clearly articulate of above-brand and portfolio-level value propositions and solution development.-Anticipate, proactively identify and resolve/remove challenges/barriers and/or execute on opportunities as it relates to successful execution of business objectives for Strategic Accounts and escalate in a timely fashion as needed.

Preferred requirements:*MBA or Master's Degree* Experience in US Commercial, Account Management, or Market Access*Strong understanding of Enterprise Accounts buying journey, stakeholder personas, and unmet needs.* Solid judgement, critical thinking and proven ability to make well-informed, data-driven/analytics-based decisions.* Proven ability to consult with, influence and negotiate with all levels of senior leadership, cross functionally and across Business Units*Strong business acumen skills (st ategy, operations, finance) and ability to execute and implement strategies.*Excellent analytical, organization and planning skills, including ability to effectively create and embed key metrics with high learning agility.* Demonstrated experience leading, coaching and developing people in a complex and changing environment .* Experience in building and maintaining high-performing, healthy cultures aligned to GSK expectations and values.
