　　Within the fields of probiotics and postbiotics, ADM’s capabilities cover the entire process from strain discovery to commercial production, developing new functional, scientifically-documented biotic strains that address today’s consumer needs. 　　Position Summary:

　　This position will be responsible for the promotion of ADM’s bioactive ingredients portfolio (prebiotic, probiotic, postbiotic and botanical extracts) primarily targeting Animal Nutrition customers. The focus of this position is on building new business and growing sales, but will also involve participation and cross collaboration with marketing, product development and technical support. The territory is Global, and this Director will prioritize regions and work in collaboration with regional teams from Animal Nutrition to develop and execute a commercial strategy. The successful candidate will report to the VP of Pet & Animal Wellbeing. Travel is estimated to be around 30%-40%.

　　Job Responsibilities:

　　Upon a thorough analysis of the market needs and challenges, consumer trends and competitor landscape, define a 5yr Strategic Growth Plan, including customer segmentation, channel identification and cross-selling opportunities with other ingredients in ADM’s Health & Wellness portfolio

　　Deliver the revenue and gross margin targets according to the 5yr Strategic Growth Plan

　　Recommend and build the relevant product portfolio focus on the needs of each region in collaboration with R&D

　　Develop short and medium-term commercial plans to expand the customer pipeline in the Animal Nutrition market segment (across livestock and aqua).

　　Work together with the customer’s R&D team in coordination with ADM’s CD&D teams to ensure that the bioactive solution is smoothly integrated into the final product matrix.

　　Provide technical service support to customers in coordination with ADM’s microbiome R&D and CD&D teams globally.

　　Align go-to-market activities in each region with the different ADM Animal Nutrition commercial teams, and coordinate the approach and messaging with ADM’s marketing team

　　Job Requirements:

　　Prefer candidates who have a BS in biochemistry/microbiology/chemistry or similar degree in human life sciences.

　　Must have a minimum of 5 years successful experience in Team Leadership business development/sales or product management in the probiotics industry calling on companion animals and/or production animals customers.

　　Previous leadership experience in market development, introduction and commercialization of new probiotic-based Animal Nutrition products, as well as project management.

　　Demonstrated ability to collaborate across matrix organization and preferably at a global level.

　　Key performance metrics include: Revenue, Gross Margin (GM), and Operational Profit (OP), P&L.
