Description
We are looking for a Director of AWS Professional Services to lead our consulting business in Japan. In this role you will lead end-to-end strategy and execution of our professional services business across sales and delivery, grow and develop the practice, and drive the next level of scale for AWS while delivering market making business outcomes for our customers. You will lead our team in Japan including regional practice managers, services sales professionals, program managers, architects and consultants.

Our consultants advise customers on migrating existing systems and building new systems using the full range of AWS services, collaborating deeply with business and IT leaders. We are looking for an experienced professional services leader of leaders to help take the AWS business to the next level. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide thought leadership at a WW level and help design and drive the cloud-based consulting model of the future. Have you built and led a successful consulting practice for a leading cloud platform provider or modern consulting firm? Can you articulate a vision of future success for enterprises, and lead a portfolio of our most strategic customer through their business transformation? Can you build and lead high performance teams that drive breakthrough business outcomes using modern technologies and methods? Can you develop and scale a partner ecosystem that drives optimal results for our customers?

Basic Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree; Masters/MBA degree preferred
• 20+ years of relevant experience in Enterprise IT consulting services sales and delivery
• Track record of leading C-level conversations anchored in driving transformational change
• Experience in building and overseeing the delivery of transformational programs & engagements with large enterprises, spanning multiple industries
• Proven ability to initiate and shape complex deals, and developing repeatable deal and partner constructs that drive scale
• Vertical industry sales and delivery experience, e.g. in Financial Services, Manufacturing, Retail, or Healthcare and Life Sciences is a plus
• Proficiency in both Japanese and English written and verbal business communications.
Preferred Qualifications
•Robust understanding of key technology and market trends
• Experience across different industry verticals and geographies
•Direct experience in implementing AWS/cloud services
