　　PURPOSE AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

　　Gathers data, analyses and reports findings. Gathers data using existing formats and will suggest changes to these formats. Resolves disputes and acts as an SME, first escalation level. • Conducts analyses to solve repetitive or patterned information and data queries/problems.

　　Works within a variety of well-defined procedures and practices. Supervised on progress and results; informs management about analysis outcomes. Works autonomously within this scope, with regular steer required e.g. on project scope and prioritisation. May coach less experienced colleagues.

　　Supports stakeholders in understanding analyses / outcomes and using them on topic related to own areas of expertise. Interaction with others demands influencing and persuasion in a tactful manner to explain and advise on performed analyses of information.

　　Job holder identifies shortcomings in current processes, systems and procedures within the assigned unit and suggests improvements. Analyses, proposes and (where possible) implements alternatives.

　　JOB PURPOSE:

　　To play a key role in the following areas in Manage Direct tax- SAN team:

　　Ensuring timely submission of quarterly, annual tax provisions and tax returns for the Shell entities of Singapore.

　　Supporting the team in smooth migration of the activities for Manage Direct Tax.

　　Ensure all the timelines are met and quality is delivered.

　　Ensuring timely preparation and filing of statutory accounts.

　　Co-ordination/ support for Tax assessments and revenue authority queries.

　　Co-ordination/ support for resolving all audit queries.

　　Ensuring compliance with RASCI. 8. Working closely with other teams like tax, legal and various controllers’ team.

　　PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

　　Executes provision of direct taxation on quarterly / annual basis, tax true ups and deferred tax provisions, ensures timely computation and filing of tax returns with revenue and statutory authorities.

　　Ensures strong coordination across other business functions and FO operations

　　Manages workloads, multiple demands and competing priorities to ensure deadlines are met while maintaining a high quality with integrity of data.

　　To identify Continuous focus on improvement opportunities (ESSA) to reduce complexity, unproductive process practices and value delivery.

　　Keeps abreast of Business developments and Business performance drivers.

　　Proactively manages relationships with all stakeholders.

　　KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

　　A Qualified Professional with around 2 years of Post Qualification Experience or a non-qualified candidate who has 4 to 6 years of experience in Manage Direct Tax process / corporate taxation with strong fundamentals in statutory reporting.

　　Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

　　Knowledge of various ERP systems used in the Shell Group.

　　Excellent MS Office skills.
