Must meet OJT eligibility guidelines)*Job Description:Work as a Direct Support Professional / Caregiver for Independent Living Center of Mobile.*Pay Rate: $11.00 to $15.00 per hour depending on the client.*Work Schedule: Full-Time Requires availability to work any day of the week including weekends. Also requires availability to work days, evenings, nights and rotating shifts.Job Duties:*****

　　Assist clients/patients on a route basis.Assist with ambulation and exercise.Perform simple procedures as an extension of therapy service (I.E, physical, occupational and speech)Assist with toileting if needed; including adult diaper changes and clean up for clients/patients who are incontinent with bowel and bladder.Light housekeeping.Assist with bathing and dressing.Assist with preparing and serving meals.Give medication reminders (we do not give medications to clients/patients.)Assist with light housekeeping and laundry.Provide transportation to appointments, errands and shopping when needed.Assist with transferring in and out of bed/chair.Job Requirements: (Minimum Education, Training and Experience Requirements)High School diploma or GED. Experience in assisting with personal care, health monitoring and first aid.Requires a driver's license, background check and drug screen.*Knowledge and Abilities:Competency in Adult Care routine services of proper methods of giving care to clients/patients. *
