About Direct Support Professional

　　The Direct Support Professional will serve as an advocate for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Assist with personal care needs, provide supervision, and act as a role model to clients who reside in a group home setting or out in the community. Assist clients in their day-to-day routines and teach them skills necessary to achieve their maximum potential as defined in their care plans. The Direct Support Professional will help in maintaining the household including, but not limited to, meal preparation, cooking, cleaning and shopping. Serve as a positive liaison between outside service providers, parents, and others who have a relationship with clients. Provide transportation for program needs/recreational activities. The Direct Support Professional is someone who enjoys creating and maintaining a meaningful environment to help others live their best possible life. Wednesday - Saturday 12pm-10pm No mandating. No on call. Overtime available.
