Maxim Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking to hire Direct Support Personnel/Caregivers!
These Direct Support Personnel (DSP) will support disabled individuals with daily living needs in a group home residential setting. As a Caregiver / DSP, you will support people with their physical, emotional, and social needs by focusing on the person first. The Direct Support Personnel assists with growth and development of interpersonal skills and Activities of Daily Living in the home or community to individuals with IDD/DD.
Schedule: Full time, 40 hours, rotating weekends
Setting: Group home residential setting
Start: ASAP
Duration: 13 weeks (with possible extension!)
Pay: Up to $22/hour
Caregiver / DSP Essential Responsibilities:
Assists with personal care, including: dressing, undressing, bathing, toileting, and overall hygiene
Assists with meal preparation, meal clean-up, laundry, and other cleaning tasks
Assists with moving in and out of beds, wheelchairs, and automobiles
Assists with activities of interest, such as: outings, crafts, entertainment, and other community events
Provides direct support and other related duties as assigned by supervisor(s) and/or nursing staff
