　　Responsibilities

　　Sr. Tester

　　This is a union position

　　General Purpose of Job:

　　The general purpose of this job is to perform testing of manufacturing equipment.

　　Essential Functions:

　　The essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to the following:

　　Set-up test stands and perform all test for mechanical and electrical assemblies

　　Perform minor assembly and disassembly of units as needed to complete testing requirements

　　Document findings

　　Troubleshoot rejected or failed assemblies both on electronics and mechanics

　　Train new employees in test department setups and procedure as needed.

　　Skills Required:

　　Must be able to

　　read and interpret drawings, specifications and procedures

　　use meters, gages, oscilloscopes, hydraulic pumps and power supplies

　　lift, slide, move units of 85 pounds

　　stand on feet for several hours

　　Physical Demands of the position:

　　25% sitting, 75% standing

　　Reaching with hands and arms

　　Stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl

　　Regularly lift up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds

　　Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus

　　Education and Experience:

　　Technical School Certificate or Diploma and or 2 year Engineering Degree and or relevant Military ExperienceThe essential functions of this role include:
