We seek motivated and compassionate individuals to join the incredible team ofDirect Care Providers for Stephens Farm at Adeo. Building relationships withresidents and working with a committed staff are among the highlights of thejob. Previous experience providing adult care in similar environments is required- we provide additional training for all new hires. We are looking for Day and Evening Direct Care Providers (DCP) must beavailable Saturday and Sunday
Full Time Day Shift: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm (This shift will alternatedays. The schedule will be as follows: Thursday, Friday, Saturday,Sunday and Monday 7am-3pmthe next week will be: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 7am-3pm
Part Time Evening Shift: 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm (Thursday, Friday and Saturday)
Pay Range: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
Direct CareCollaboratively respond to resident and staff needs in a direct, timely,and supportive mannerProvide services to meet residents' individual needs - this may includepersonal care, meals, housekeeping, laundry, activities and engagement.Reinforce boundaries with residents according to individual care plans andredirect behaviors when necessaryMaintain thorough and accurate documentation of care provided, includingtaking vital signs and performing range of motion exercisesEnsure overall safety, cleanliness, and sanitation of the facility toprovide a safe, clean, hazard-free environmentCommunicate pertinent changes, critical information, and feedback aboutresident care or program operations with other staff and/or managersEngage with residents in ways that nurture positive relationships, mutualrespect, and understanding within a residential environment, includingensuring access to common areas and residents' ability to make informedchoices to the greatest extent possibleLead or assist with resident groups or activitiesBe present, prepared, and on-time for each shift and provide care untilrelieved by oncoming staffRegularly check email and text messages for important correspondence andrespond when necessaryTake on additional shifts to cover others when necessary and availableParticipate in mandatory staff trainings, including CPR and CrisisPrevention Institute (CPI) trainingComply with all company policies regarding privacy, confidentiality, andmandatory reporting

Preferred QualificationsAt least 6 months professional care experiencePrevious experience supporting people with disabilities and traumatic braininjuryQualified Medication Administration Personnel (QMAP) Certification
Additional RequirementsProficiency speaking, reading, and writing in EnglishPossess visual and auditory acuity
