　　Direct Care Staff hours 28-30 hours

　　Direct Care Staff Job description:

　　As a Direct Care Staff you will work directly with developmentally delayed adults. You will serve by providing direct care and support that promotes independence, social interaction and person centered lifestyle choices. You will receive on the job training while assisting individuals with their progression through their day program. Some tasks include but are not limited to: personal hygiene, community integration, promote self advocacy, socialization, pre-vocational/vocational skill training, and encourage physical fitness.

　　Direct Care Staff Requirements:

　　Pass TB and Physical-Pass Background check (FBI and DOJ)

　　-Must be First Aid and CPR certified

　　Passion for working with intellectually delayed adults-Team orientated, ability to motivate, lead and direct teams toward accomplishments of goals and objectives

　　Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form

　　Ability to manage and coach clients in an effective manner

　　Problem solving skills

　　Computer literacy-Word, Excel, Outlook

　　Ability to adhere to Monday-Friday 8am-2pm work schedule
