Role Snapshot
The Director of Market Strategy & Product Innovation for our Health Insurance business line is a critical role with responsibility for driving growth, strategy and product innovation, including traditional health insurance products, ancillary product offerings, and product offerings targeted at cost containment for employers.
This role is responsible for:
Managing the full product lifecycle including product development, network strategy, product roadmaps, ongoing optimization, and product backlog
As a member of the health insurance leadership team, you will be partnering closely with sales, marketing, and operations to shape strategy, translate market requirements into value-driven product offerings, and ensure product requirements are clearly articulated to ensure successful implementation

Have led product development strategy, network strategy, and roadmaps to deliver innovative insurance products to meet customer needs and drive profitable growth
Have experience leading product planning and prioritization activities while promoting collaboration among product teams, business, and technology partners
Thrive on working with cross-functional teams (underwriting, claims, marketing, etc.) to gather customer insights and market trends to inform product design and pricing decisions
Have developed and maintained product scorecards including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure product performance
Managed the product development budget and resources to maximize return on investment
Focused on ensuring products meet regulatory requirements and company standards
Have managed the end-to-end lifecycle for health insurance product innovation including defining product strategy and delivery roadmap while ensuring alignment with business objectives
Champion a customer-centric approach while using data-driven insights, customer feedback, competitive analysis, and market demands to inform product decisions and delivery prioritization

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent post high school and/or related work experience
7 or more years related work experience
Experience managing a product through its full development lifecycle from concept to launch and ongoing optimization
Proven track record of successfully managing Commercial and Medicare insurance products
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of health insurance product regulations and product pricing methodology.
Experience conceptualizing, researching, and evaluating new ideas objectively from data driven and market-informed standpoint and translating ideas into targeted business value.

Salary Range $160K – $225KThe base pay offered for this position may vary within the posted range based on your job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
