Responsibilities
• Check-in and sort remittance mail according to customer.• Open remittance mail utilizing mail extraction equipment. Identify various transactional types to pre-sort and organize contents for processing through the remittance system based on pre-established batch types. Key specific information from customer remittance stubs accurately and quickly. Send remittance files to customer.• Process internal Mail Teller loan payments and deposits through remittance system. Identify exceptions and forward to other departments for resolution/processing based on exception type. Identify various transactional types to pre-sort and organize contents for processing through the remittance system based on pre-established batch types.• Perform other remittance scanning duties according to established procedures.• Provide phone support for customers served by department including but not limited to initial customer set-up, user maintenance, deposit and balancing issues, scanner issues.• Understand basic operations related to the following:o Retail and Commercial online banking applicationso Mobile banking applicationso ACH Originations/Receipto Regulation E requests and ACH disputeso Positive Payo Wire processing• Respond to consumer and commercial client inquiries regarding the Bank's electronic products• General knowledge of digital banking products• Work parallel with sales team for implementation, training, and ongoing support for treasury clients• Keep current with all policies and procedures for lockbox, electronic banking, and wire transfer processing• Collaborate with team and other lines of business to ensure success• Assists with archiving of daily work• Assist with department projects as delegated by supervisor• Performs other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor• Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to the position, including the Univest Code of Conduct
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED with 3-5 years of experience in a financial institution• Knowledge of Bank operating policies and procedures and State and Federal banking regulations with special emphasis on those impacting lockbox processing, electronic banking, and wire processing• Excellent customer service, written / verbal communication, and telephone skills• Must be well organized, detail oriented• Ability to andle multiple priorities independently, operate well under pressure and analyze data to solve problems• Sufficient computer skills overall, must include Outlook, Word, and Excel• Ability to function as an integral member of a Team• Flexibility and enthusiasm to work in many capacities within the Digital Operations department• Act as a change agent, demonstrating a willingness to learn new systems, procedures, and business areas• Demonstrated willingness to learn (systems, procedures etc.)• Prior experience using Jack Henry, Synergy a plus• Working knowledge of rules and regulations pertaining to lockbox processing, electronic banking, and wire transfers (Reg J, UCC4A, Reg E, Reg CC)Click here for Benefit Information (https://www.youtube.com/embed/h1P5KuxFvss)#Univest#LI-HybridAn Equal Opportunity Employer.
