This position is expected to begin Fall 2024 and will be a part of large cohort of new faculty joining the Bellevue College Community.Bellevue College seeks a dedicated full-time tenure-track faculty member for its Digital Media Arts (DMA) program, responsible for delivering high-quality instruction across various DMA disciplines such as Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, UX/UI Design, Game Design, 3D Art & Design, and Video Production. This role encompasses more than teaching; it includes curriculum development, academic advising, mentorship, and active participation in college governance, potentially extending to program chair responsibilities. The ideal candidate will hold a Master's degree, possess experience in diverse educational settings, and demonstrate a commitment to addressing equity gaps within the Digital Media Arts field. Proficiency in multiple DMA disciplines, coupled with experience in online and hybrid teaching environments and a track record in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion efforts, will be highly valued. New hires cannot be placed above $82,831.36 unless exceptional circumstances prevail. Certain positions may also be eligible for assignment/project-based additional compensation, including a High Demand Stipend up to $8,350 annually, prorated based on the discipline and duration of the assignment.
