  Our location in Austin, TX is seeking a full-time Digital Marketing Manager for our Global Cardiac Rhythm Management team. This person will be responsible for building up & integrating our digital channels for the CRM brand with various target audiences (i.e. HCPs, Patients, Caregivers and Payers). In this role, you will develop deep customer insights, build and maintain strong professional relationships with external and internal partners, and contribute to the development of new digital and social marketing strategies & campaigns to support our existing business as well as upcoming product launches.

  What You'll Do:

  The preferential candidate should be able to leverage data and analytics to derive recommendations to optimize multichannel engagement in a global setting. In addition to advanced analytical abilities, the candidate should demonstrate excellent leadership and diplomatic skills, especially for coordination across regions and teams within the organization and ensure digital and social media governance adherence in accordance to Abbott’s brand guidelines.

  To be successful in this role, the candidate must possess an entrepreneurial & innovative spirit while working strategically and operationally in equal measure.

  Responsibilities for this role will include:

  Strategic planning of monthly and quarterly goals to support product launches and overall brand awareness campaigns

  Work in tandem with other department heads to ensure strategies are up to date and in-line with Abbott brand guidelines

  Oversee day-to-day operations of content development, website updates and social media governance

  Understand the nature of multiple data sources in order to develop, execute, and communicate plans to the Executive team based on insights and analysis

  Assist in the development of new campaigns and messages designed to reach a target audience with health literacy, adult learning, KOL development, and HCP/Payer/Patients marketing in mind.

  Identifying/creating targeted thought leadership and patient influencer opportunities to create and foster meaningful relationships.

  Effectively manage multiple agency partners to produce deliverables within timelines and on budget; this involves developing KPI’s and measuring outcomes.

  Keep current and anticipate changes in the healthcare landscape, in CRM therapeutic areas, in order to make recommendations to adapt plans based on insights

  Assist in the development of product launch strategy and planning

  Lead social media issues preparedness and management efforts.

  Champion new approaches to digital marketing technologies and more advanced research methods to understand customer need and retention.

  Responsible for supervising regular campaign performance analysis and optimization recommendations

  Provide recommendations to streamline processes, eliminating inefficiencies and improving results across the department

  Work closely with the Director to generate reporting and analysis of trends to support strategic and optimization efforts

  Work independently with guidance regarding overall team management and day-to-day operations to achieve goals and objectives on time and within budget

  Education and Experience You'll Bring:

  5-7 years of Digital Marketing experience

  Proven record of contributing to product launches and brand/portfolio growth.

  Proven record of management and mentoring team members

  Demonstrated excellence in project management with a proven track record of effectively managing multiple projects / priorities simultaneously.

  Strong presentation skills, especially with expertise in presenting before Executive staff.

  Proven track record of successful budget management.

  Experience managing cross-functional teams or work groups as well as vendors; experience with developing KPI’s and dashboards to measure results.

  Outstanding interpersonal / relationship-building skills, as well as influencing and negotiating skills; advanced ability to build rapport and work cross-collaboratively while maintaining flexibility and resiliency is a plus.

  Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to lead, interact with, focus, mediate / resolve conflict, and drive consensus among individuals from a variety of cultures and disciplines.

  Experience working with branding functions in the medical device industries is preferred but not required

  Advanced understanding of marketing best practices when targeting Health Care Providers (HCP’s) and Patients is preferred but not required

  Advanced understanding of regulatory requirements and their impact on development of marketing materials is preferred but not required.

  Bachelor's in Marketing or Health-related field OR an equivalent combination of education and work experience (Required)

  Digital Marketing Certification or MBA (Preferred)

  The base pay for this position is $95,000.00 – $190,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
