Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated career and customer-oriented Digital Engineering Administrator II in Glen Burnie, MD. Please note that while this position is in Glen Burnie, the ideal candidate can sit in any ManTech approved facility within the Washington DMV area.
The Digital Engineering Administrator's primary function is help in maintaining essential engineering software applications, user accounts, and configuration to include operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, software, and hardware. They help support the Digital Engineering Environment (DEE) and the suite of engineering software and applications lifecycle management (ALM). The Digital Engineering Administrator II takes direction from more senior personnel.
Performance shall include:
Help handle engineering-critical IT tasks and systems that provide support to engineers in the use of engineering tools. Engineering software and applications may include product lifecycle management (PLM), Computer Aided Design (CAD), requirements management, systems modeling and architecture, engineering simulations, and other enabling engineering software and digital technologies to enable the work of engineers.
Install and configure updated versions of software in on-premises or cloud computing environments.
Provide close support problem resolution, training, and configuring software for any DE environments.
Assist engineers with using tools and work with Digital Engineering Specialists and vendors to communicate user needs, project status, activities, and achievement.
Have a solid understanding of engineering models, computer aided engineering environments, and computational engineering tools.
Required Education and Experience:
A Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience.
2 years of relevant experience administering and providing close support on engendering or technology software applications.
A High School Diploma and 8 years of experience or an Associates and 6 years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a Degree.
A candidate holding a relevant Master’s degree may be granted 2 years’ experience credit for that extra education. A candidate holding a relevant PhD degree may be granted 4 years’ experience credit for that extra education.
Desired Education and Experience:
Experience administering engineering software tools like Cameo Enterprise Architect, Engineering Simulation software like ANSYS, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), or Computer Aided Technologies (CAx) for engineering disciplines.Security Clearance:

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
