Le adership & Strategy
Work with CIO, CTO, and practice leaders to maintain leading-edge strategies for maximum adoption and impact o f Digital Design and Engineering tools and practices.
Oversee, motivate, and set priorities for a team of experts in support of various specialty skills contributing to the above
Liaise with CIO, CTO, and other contributors (including outside ventures) in development of internal and marketed digital design solutions.
Work with the CIO, CTO and business stakeholders to help organize and drive our Research and Development process including Innovation Tournaments and emerging technologies.
Help foster awareness of TT's global capabilities in BIM and digital delivery.
Create and participate in industry presentations, talks, and publications.
Assist leaders with career path development for BIM staff.
Participate in strategic relationships with software vendors to help drive value that advances TT's Digital Design goals.
Be an evangelist of TT Digital Design both internally at TT and externally to Clients.
Support
Oversee training for BIM and engineering staff in best use of BIM tools in coordination with CORE studio tools and software.
Work with corporate and office BIM Managers to oversee quality control and use of modeling standards in each practice area.
Keep up with industry technology developments to make sure TT is using the best tools in the best ways possible
Work with BIM Leadership to create metrics on BIM use, maturity, and quality.
Assist in managing budgets around CORE priorities including software development, training, and R&D.
Technical
Manage and support for digital design tools.
Oversee development and deployment of custom software setups.
Oversee testing and deployment of new BIM software versions and updates.
Oversee IT liaison for hardware compatibility of digital design tools and systems.
Assist with solving complex technology issues pertaining to BIM and BIM projects.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
10+ years' experience in leading teams in a corporate level digital design management role
Engineering background preferred.
Advanced knowledge of AEC digital design tools and parametric design and delivery.
Advanced understanding of design processes and project delivery methods.
Knowledge of typical IT systems.
Scripting and automation experience.
Experience publishing / presenting to AEC publications / conferences.
Compensation
The rate for this position generally is$110,000-$160,000annually.This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the New York Pay Transparency Law. It is based on what a successful New York applicant might be paid and assumes that the successful candidate will be in New York or perform the position from New York. Similar positions located outside of New York will not necessarily receive the same compensation.Actual pay rates may vary from the range, as permitted byNew YorkEqual Pay Transparency Law. Compensation offers will be based on various factors, including operational needs, individual education, qualifications and experience, work location and comparison to employee already in the role, as well as other considerations permitted by law. A potential new employee's pay history will not be used in compensation decisions.
