  Your role will be in the Engineering team where the focus isto ensure that our security mission and that of our customers’ is delivered. You’ll be working on real customer projects from day one; developing key skills and experience to set up your career in this space.

  You’ll be part of the team assessing information provided by threat intelligence feeds to ascertain the relevance to the customer. Reviewing information from various sources using appropriate analytical tools and techniques to interpret gaps, patterns and trends, assess threat, risk and harm and make recommendations and provide advice to the end customer.

  About the apprenticeship you’ll study for.

  As a Digital & Technology Solutions Degree Apprentice, you’ll study for a University Degree in Digital Technology Solutions Level 6 , actively applying what you learn at university to your role within BT. Upon successful completion of your apprenticeship, you’ll receive a BSc degree from one of our University Partners.

  The degree course runs for four years and is a work-based learning degree.

  You’ll spend a minimum of 20% of your time learning and studying.

  After you have successfully completed your apprenticeship qualification and scheme, we’ll support you in securing a role that is best aligned to your strengths and interests.

  Entry Requirements

  You’ll need to achieve (or be on course to achieve) three A-Levels with a minimum of BCC grades. You’ll also need a minimum of five GCSEs at grades 4-9 (C or above) including English and Maths. Equivalent qualifications are accepted.

  The role is also subject to you gaining and keeping DV (Developed Vetting) level of security clearance. The result of the security clearance vetting is not subject to appeal. Failure to successfully achieve and maintain the necessary level of security clearance may see any offer of employment with BT cease or withdrawn.

  An allowance of £5k per annum made payable monthly may be paid while you hold DV clearance level and continue to work in a role that requires DV. The terms of this allowance will be made available if you are successful in being recruited for this role.
