Summary of Need:
The position will provide contract management and nutrition oversight assistance which includes overseeing contractor nutritionist activities. The Temp Nutritionist will be responsible for supporting emergency food assistance program activities. This position will also assist in contract procurement, fiscal management, and program review activities.
Required Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in food service administration, community nutrition, human nutrition, dietetics, public health, health education and/or an equitable degree from an accredited institution. Desired Experience: 1 year of experience working as a Dietician or Nutritionist. Planning or conducting public health and/or nutrition education programs to assist in health promotion. Experience using varied communication techniques spoken, written, and web-based. Preferred Qualifications: Registered Dietitian with The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics or has completed an accredited nutrition and dietetics internship program and is eligible for Registration. Experience working for food assistance programs such as Federally funded USDA nutrition programs, Emergency Feeding Organization, Food Bank or Food Pantry Shift: Monday to Friday (9am to 5pm)
