　　Job Summary

　　The dietitian is responsible for the nutritional care of the patient within an assigned area of practice.

　　Education and/or Experience

　　Bachelor’s degree required.

　　Dietetic Internship or similar Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics approved program required, unless already registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

　　One year of experience and advanced certifications in specialty are preferred.

　　Certification/Licensure/Registrations

　　Must be a Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or obtain registration within six months of hire date required.

　　Licensed as a Dietitian in the state of South Dakota required. If not yet licensed, may work under a temp nutritionist permit for up to six months.

　　Potential need for multiple state licensure.

　　Pay

　　The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

　　$23.75 - $36.00 per hour
