Qualifications:

　　ServSafe Certified

　　In addition to being an excellent communicator, you should also demonstrate outstanding leadership and organizational abilities

　　A minimum of 1 year's experience in a similar role

　　In-depth knowledge of cooking techniques

　　In-depth knowledge of kitchen health and safety regulations

　　Ability to work well in a stressful and fast-paced environment

　　Excellent problem-solving and conflict management abilities

　　Experience using computers

　　Outstanding communication and organizational skills

　　Positive Attitude and ability to lead others

　　Must have patience, tact, enthusiasm, and positive attitude towards the elderly and disabled

　　Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English

　　Must be at least 18 years of age

　　Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job

　　Responsibilities:

　　To prepare food in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, the facility's established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Dietary Manager, to ensure that quality food service is provided at all times.

　　As the cook/ team leader, you will be responsible for overseeing food preparation, maintaining food safety standards, monitoring inventory levels, ensuring team members are performing tasks appropriately, fill in other positions as needed and assisting Dietary Manager as needed.

　　Assist and direct the daily or scheduled cleaning duties.

　　Assist in supervision of kitchen employees on your team.

　　Train kitchen employees.

　　The Team Leader must be able to oversee multiple activities simultaneously and take ownership of the output of associates working on his or her team.

　　Assure Kitchen is closed for the night per provided checklist
