The Larson Group Peterbilt is looking for an experienced Diesel Service Technician to join our dynamic team. This position performs all functions of a fully qualified heavy-duty truck repair mechanic under minimal supervision. Testing when completed to ensure repairs are completed properly. * Train new technicians. * Follow safety rules and company policies always. * Communicate to Service Foreman regarding parts that are not available for repairs. * Download and save to Paccar Solutions/Decisiv: all pictures, engine files (before and after repair), and diagnostic test used to perform repair. * Record in detail, the description of all trouble shooting steps and results of repairs made and any other information about the repair. * Save all warrantable parts. Tag, wash, box and turn in to correct location. Labels the box with repair order number, S/N, customer name and date. * Maintain a clean and safe work area. Clean and return tools used. * Advise the following shift's technicians with any special instructions or concerns you found when repairing truck. * Maintain efficiency and productivity goals set forth by Service Manager. * Maintain Peterbilt online training percentage of 95%. * Obtain class A or B CDL and retain during employment. * Perform other duties and repairs as assigned. Qualifications: * Should possess a High School diploma. * A college degree or a certificate or degree from a trade school is preferred, but not required. * Experience in a related field is preferred but not required. * Must Possess or be able to obtain a Class A CDL. * Motor Vehicle Record adheres to TLG MVR Guidelines. *Please note this is a safety-sensitive position Should possess a High School diploma.
