We arelooking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to teach the entry levelskills needed to work in a maintenance shop.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Course Instruction

　　Guide, instruct and supervise students practical skills

　　Grade workbooks and oversee lesson plans

　　Evaluate student accomplishment of skills

　　School Preparation

　　Conduct daily tool inventory and manage tool stock

　　Log daily activities for training plan accuracy

　　* Train and coordinate with classroom instructor

　　Develop and Grow the Program

　　Review curriculum and suggest adjustments as necessary

　　Develop partnerships with Swift, local repair shops and funding agencies

　　Facilitate Diesel Mechanics Externship program

　　Assist With Mechanic Duties in Shop

　　Plan the use of students for available work on equipment

　　Conduct quality checks on all student work

　　Complete work orders that class doesnt complete

　　Student Development

　　Manage training schedule to accommodate student placement interviews

　　Work with Site Manager to schedule future classes

　　Ensure students are adhering to student policies and procedures

　　Coordinate w/Job Placement Department to increase student job placement
