Dubai Holding is looking to hire a Senior Executive – Investments & Portfolio Management reporting to the Associate Director – Investments & Portfolio Management. The role holder will assist in performing several activities including financial and commercial analysis, draft and compile presentations, develop financial models, conduct sector research, perform valuation analysis and assist in originating opportunities in relation to evaluating investments and performing portfolio management activities.

Key Accountabilities:
Review and collate financial information and develop data books with financial and commercial data.
Support the creation of financial models to assess investment opportunities and valuation metrics.
Assist in performing valuation of businesses based on industry standard methodologies (e.g. DCF and multiples) to assist in negotiations with target companies.
Assist in market research on sectors and comparable companies to evaluate sector performance and investment viability.
Assist in performing financial and commercial analysis of existing portfolio businesses and target companies to assess the investment risk in a company.
Assist in developing clear presentations in relation to analysis and research performed in order to communicate findings to management to make recommendations on investment targets / potential divestments.
Conduct market research on sectors and comparable companies in order to assess the performance of the sector and comparable companies to assess the viability of investment.
Assist in the coordination and execution of projects and transactions within set deadlines.
Support pre-alignment protocols required by DHI Governance for decision-making at Board and Shareholders meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned in support of the work of the department.
Who we are looking for:
Entry-level position suitable for recent graduates or those with a maximum of 3 years of relevant experience. Candidates with experience in a financial institution, such as an investment bank, boutique advisory firm, or a transaction team of a 'Big 4' firm, preferred.Education / Professional Certifications:
Minimum: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant subject areas such as Finance, Economics, Investments, Accounting or other quantitative subjectsTechnical Competencies:
The candidate should have the ability to take ownership and deliver in line with high expectations.
Ability to manage various stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills and lateral thinking to solve problems.
Able to work independently and as part of a team with a fast pace and a high energy that will translate into a high-quality output.
Excellent organizational skills, having the ability to prioritize workload whilst being resilient and being able to cope well under pressure.
Take ownership of tasks and deliverables and be dedicated to meeting tight deadlines and working long hours when required.
Able to summarize various report and present key finding to management.
Proven IT skills in the following programs including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Language Skills: Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Fluent in English, multilingual preferable.
