About DGM Business Finance

  Position purpose:

  To provide the Consumer Healthcare Team with in-depth analysis of business results versus targets across all categories, leading to the identification of opportunities and challenges and recommendations for appropriate actions to address them. This will enable impactful decision, uplift capability building of FP&A competencies and Annual Contract rigor across India.Reports solid line to the AVP Finance & Accounts and dotted to the Head of CHC Business.

  Responsibilities

  FP&A Direct Impact

  Counsel stakeholders on all financial issues that impacts strategic and short term business decisions

  Take the lead in managing the financial planning, forecasting and reporting process for the business.

  Participate in the business planning process

  Prepare analysis and reporting on weekly basis and actual results for the business and for submission

  Provide guidance on further development and enhancement of our financial processes, and databases used for reporting of actual and planning data

  Prepare scenario modelling and what if analysis, to pre-empt changes in financials by monitoring trends and discussing with business partners

  Support impactful decision-making

  Responsible for the business reporting process, ensuring all deadlines are met, drafting all review materials for the Business Head.

  Ensure robust monthly review mechanisms enabling improved insights on country wide performance, analyzing business drivers and incorporate into outlooks and estimates

  Coach and guide the business units on improving the quality of the analysis and business performance management

  Perform ad hoc analysis (Category/brand management, market opportunities)

  Ensure FP&A discipline in the team and peer groups throughout the country

  Knowledge and Skill required

  Chartered Accountant/ MBA with 8+ years of experience with minimum two years of FP&A experience

  Strong analytical skills

  Cultural sensitivity

  Flexibility

  Drive for results

  Strong natural leadership skills

  Ability to influence without formal line management power

  Ability to influence also higher levels of the organization

  High self motivation and self starting work and attitude

  Good communication skills both written and oral
