Introduction

　　watsonx Code Assistant is an exciting new offering from IBM that strives to revolutionize enterprise software development with Generative AI. As a DevOps and Security developer for watsonx Code Assistant, you will be responsible for designing and developing components and features for watsonx Code Assistant.

　　Your Role and Responsibilities

　　As a Devops developer, you will work in a Kubernetes based micro services environment to support our bleeding edge cloud services. This will include custom solutions, as well as open source DevOps tools (build and deploy automation, monitoring and data gathering for our software delivery pipeline). You will also be contributing to our continuous improvement and continuous delivery while increasing maturity of DevOps and agile adoption practices.

　　Required Technical and Professional Expertise

　　2+ years of professional experience working as devops, being familiar with shell scripts and configuration management systems, especially on the Kubernetes platfom (Helm, Kustomize,...)

　　2+ years of experience with building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Travis, Tekton, ... )

　　2+ years of experience operating Kubernetes or RedHat Openshift clusters

　　2+ years Experience with at least 1 cloud provider, I.e., AWS, IBM Cloud, Azure or GCP.

　　Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

　　Experience with gitops architecture and tools like ArgoCD

　　Experience developing software with golang, especially if writing kubernetes operators.

　　Experience on security and compliance, working with security scanning tools and validating the software supply chain of software

　　Experience with Prometheus metrics

　　Experience setting up observability systems based on Open Telemetry or other tools.

　　Experience working with infrastructure as code with terraform

　　Has exposure to Open Source (adoption and contributions)
