　　Your Role and Responsibilities

　　IBM is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join the Data Observability practice in Poland.

　　Databand (an IBM company) is the leading data observability platform for modern enterprises that are built by engineers for engineers. Our mission is to help organizations build better data products and trust in their data. We do that by providing data teams comprehensive visibility into the health of their data pipelines using our SDK and complex monitoring and impact detection platform. Thanks to our deep monitoring they can gain confidence in their quality data and respond proactively to new issues. We want you to join Databand team (The Band) and help us with building a product for fellow engineers, using a cutting-edge technological stack and the highest engineering standards.

　　What You'll Do:

　　Create a top-notch monitoring system for our SaaS and on-prem applications

　　Build a robust zero-downtime cloud solution that fellow engineers can rely on.

　　Own a Secure supply chain and cloud environment

　　Use the latest cloud providers including Google Cloud Services, AWS, Azure, and IBM Cloud.

　　Deploy and support both SaaS and self-hosted systems using Kubernetes, docker-compose, Open shift, and the latest container orchestration tools

　　Required Technical and Professional Expertise

　　Industry experience in DevOps, which includes:

　　Production Kubernetes (GKE, EKS, OCS - advantage)

　　Python (preferred) or other OOP languages

　　Public cloud - GCP/AWS/Azure. (GCP - advantage)

　　Monitoring and incident management processes

　　Building CI/CD processes (Gitlab - advantage)

　　Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

　　Demonstrated Security Experience & secure SW development practices

　　Familiarity with cloud security & compliance
