　　Your Role and Responsibilities

　　The Strategic Partnerships team on Cloud Pak for Data integrates a variety of database products onto IBM's Cloud Pak platform. Our team works with strategic technologies such as Red Hat OpenShift, Operators with the Operator Lifecycle Manager (OLM), as well as common open-source databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Cassandra. We operate in a continuous-delivery, forward-moving model of development so concepts like CICD and automated & integrated testing are foundational.

　　Required Technical and Professional Expertise

　　5+ Years of experience in core DevOps

　　Hands-on experience on DevOps tools like Jenkins, GIT, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible etc

　　Kubernetes Certification will be an added advantage

　　Used Jenkins or similar tools to create CI/CD pipelines.

　　Managed Docker Orchestration and Docker Containerization using Kubernetes, Openshift etc

　　Expertise in Linux (CentOS, RedHat, Ubuntu etc.)

　　Working knowledge of Ansible based install/deployment automation.

　　Programming skills using languages such as Java/Python

　　Good knowledge in Shell Scripting/Bash, setting up Jenkins pipelines

　　Familiarity in integration of heterogenous services in a hybrid environment

　　Experience with relational and non relational databases

　　Familiarity with IBM Cloud or AWS or Azure is a plus.

　　Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

　　Experience with any one modern programming language like NodeJS, Javascript, Python, GO.

　　Experience with Source control management (eg Git): to enable teams to work together to manage changes to source code

　　Knowledge of any automation testing framework.

　　Experience with containers, containers orchestration software, cloud platforms.

　　Experience automating infrastructure, testing, and deployments using tools like Jenkins.
