  NADAP, Inc. is a multiservice non-profit agency dedicated to helping people with medical, behavioral health and social service needs to become self-sufficient. NADAP programs assist disadvantaged populations in New York City and Nassau County. NADAP's services include health insurance enrollment, assessment, care coordination, case management, professional training, job preparation and placement services.   Responsibilities

  Position Summary

  This full-time position reports to the Director of Development and engages with individual donors, family foundations, corporate sponsors, and supports engagement with programs, staff leadership, and the Board and Advisory board.

  Essential Functions

  • Fundraising:Cultivates and stewards relationships with existing donors and new donors, identifying and fostering opportunities for major gifts;Collaborates with Director of Development to develop a strategy for capital gifts +$10k.

  • Database (CRM) Management and Analysis:Builds out and tracks major gifts, updating records in online CRM (EveryAction) for gifts, event attendance and relationships.

  • Staff & Leadership Engagement:Engages with program leadership, including Board and Advisory Board members, to help identify, assess, and pursue individual and family foundation gifts, corporate and government grants (including federal), and/or address potential gaps in funding.

  • Event management (fund raisers):Collaborates on major donor events, including planning, data collection and impact assessment and follow up to attendees.

  • Social Media & Digital Marketing:Works with digital marketing and social media team to help develop, plan, and manage social media and fundraising marketing efforts.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  Qualifications

  Education required: HS Diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred

  Experience required: 3 Years of related experience,

  Criteria that would be desirable but not required:3+ years of experience in major gifts fundraising for a non-profit organization, with proven ability to cultivate and close five-and six-figure gifts, and/or multi-year grants, proven track record building and maintaining relationships with high-net-worth individuals, foundations, and corporations, excellent grant-writing and/or editing skill set, including attention to grammar and detail, and ability proven ability to respond to and meet deadlines, and knowledge of and experience managing fundraising databases and tools, (Salesforce, Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT, Bonterra/EveryAction etc.)

  Salary: $65-75k/year

  Hybrid Schedule: 3 days in office, 2 days remote- subject to change
