　　Job Description:

　　*This position is full time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, Evenings 3:00pm-11:30pm with holidays as required.

　　Provides leadership and participates in development and implementation of Central Sterile Processing standards and procedures. In collaboration with CSP Operations and OR/SPD Relations Managers, sets priorities for CSP and participates in problem solving. Responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of departmental process improvement initiatives. Schedules and maintains adequate staffing levels for the shift. Provides guidance to employees to ensure 100% certification within CSP. Coordinates instrument requirements with the OR to ensure that national standards are met for decontaminating, assembling and sterilizing all instruments

　　Salary Range:

　　$22.65-32.35 an hour

　　The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

　　Job Requirements:

　　Qualifications:

　　Education: BS in related field preferred; or equivalent health care experience

　　Experience: Minimum of 3 years Sterile Processing experience required. Previous supervisory experience preferred.

　　License/Certification Required: Certification required from a nationally recognized Sterile Processing Technician program, or 20+ years of Sterile Processing experience. If not certified, must obtain within three months from date of hire. CHL required within 18 months of hire.

　　Skills: Management, Process improvement, interpersonal, leadership, and Microsoft skills.
