About Developer IV Specialized

  Kforce has a client that is seeking a Developer IV Specialized in Reston, VA.Duties Include:

  Developer IV Specialized will analyze highly complex business requirements; Generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications

  Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation, and analysis efforts

  Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution

  Assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area

  As a Developer IV Specialized, you will adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner

  Implement new software technology and coordinate simultaneous implementation tasks across teams

  Lead application migration to AWS

  Managing individuals and leading projects

  Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field required

  8-10 years of experience required

  Extensive development experience in J2EE, Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, Angular, HTML, CSS, Oracle, Netezza, Unix, ETL, Shell scripting

  Hands on experience in AWS Services (Docker, ECS Faregate, CICD Pipeline, RDS, Redshift, etc.)

  Hands on experience in designing, developing and successful deployment of large-scale projects from end-to-end

  Hands on experience in following the iterative and agile SDLC process

  Hands on experience on working with RDS (oracle) in AWS environment

  Skilled in documentation, code review, presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand

  The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

  We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

  Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.

  This job is not eligible for bonuses, incentives or commissions.
