The Desktop Support Supervisor will have primary responsibility for managing the day-to-day operations of Desktop Support for their respective coast. The Desktop Support Supervisor also partners with their counterpart on the opposite coast to create full redundancy and consistent support across all offices.

Supervise Desktop, provide daily work direction, on-call rotations, vacation scheduling, shift/queue scheduling, performance review contributions, and hiring and training of new Desktop Support staff. Manage, develop, and mentor Desktop Support team members. Analyze desktop activity and make recommendations to the Senior Manager, IT Operations for changes in procedures and systems. Actively participate in all IT service projects and all office moves and renovations. Ensure accurate and timely resolutions to complex problems. Ensure all tickets in the desktop support queue are handled in accordance to Cornerstone Research's SLA policy. Manage office and firm-wide projects related to desktop services. Provide senior level support for Applications Support.What You'll Need to Be Successful 8+ years of experience supporting desktop required; professional services or law firm experience preferred. The desire to take initiative and actively contribute to the team and the firm.The ability to communicate effectively and professionally. Strong business acumen and the ability to learn the firm's financial and operational functions.The mindset to provide superior service. Experience in supervising, mentoring, and developing more junior employees.Must possess complete technical comprehension of server and desktop operating systems, network architectures and protocols.Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot a variety of end-user problems including network, software, hardware, and printer issues.Comprehensive working knowledge of the operation of desktop computers. Technical coursework in Microsoft products, mobile technologies.Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of experience and education.Who We AreCornerstone Research provides economic and financial analysis and expert testimony in all phases of commercial litigation and regulatory proceedings.

Cornerstone Research is offering a competitive market base salary for this position between $86,600.00 and $113,400.00. A job offer will depend on how closely a candidate's skills, experience and education match the requirements for the role. In addition to base salary, we offer a total compensation package that includes annual performance bonus and generous benefits.
