Description:
This manufacturing client is looking for a Desktop Support Technician. They need this technician to have a few years of Desktop Support/hardware support experience within a large environment as this person will be the sole IT person onsite. This is an exciting opportunity to continue to develop and leverage your analytical skills. This position will have an opportunity to improve the ITSM support organization. The Analyst will be responsible for supporting our end users and keeping a strong focus on maintaining support processes. Our expectations are that this individual will identify and remediate support trends on an ongoing basis. This position will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with the global peer team members and key business customers while implementing the Global Technology Services strategy. It will be onsite 5 days a week in Shelton, CT. It is a Mon-Fri first shift schedule. This position is a 6 month contract. It could go longer but not guaranteed so you must be comfortable with potentially finishing after 6 months.
