Job Description:This position is responsible for assisting the engineering staff in the creation and maintenance of technical design documentation, such as engineering drawings, CAD models, change notices, and bills of material.This position will include ownership of small design projects as directed. Additionally, this position will support the logistics of drawing conversions and prototype parts, as well as bill of material construction, tracking and maintenance.Qualifications10+ years experience as designer/drafter in an equipment or machinery manufacturing company or a related industry.8+ years experience as an engineering/PLM/PDM coordinator or equivalent experience8+ years software experience with Solidworks, AutoCad, Word, Excel, Acrobat8+ years experience generating and using database queries using Showcase, Access or equivalent database application - Working familiarity with manufacturing processes: Metal cutting, Material selection/ procurement, Machining, Forming, AssemblyAbility to work effectively in a team environmentSufficient analytical skill to convert vague concepts or instructions into drawingsSolid knowledge of ANSI G. D. & T. to generate and review engineering drawingsAbility to generate, analyze and reconcile bills of materialAbility to work well under pressureAbility to complete tasks with minimal supervisionExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSalary: The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $110,000.
