Position Overview
Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers is looking for a Design Management Project Coordinator to help with overall project delivery and staff development. We are looking for someone with experience in the design & construction field with a passion to support local leadership and staff to meet the overall goals of our organization.
District Overview
Kiewit Infrastructure Engineering's Design-Build team is driving clients to turn to Kiewit during all stages of design-build projects. Through our integrated design and construction approach, our multi-disciplinary team works together to improve schedule, control costs and minimize risk. Our construction-focused engineers work collaboratively with our estimators and builders to design solutions that are innovative, constructible, and designed with a focus on safety. Clients benefit from the proven processes and tools used by Kiewit to minimize project risk. We are an in-house resource that supports projects throughout the company. Location
This position is based out of our Lone Tree, CO office.
Responsibilities
The Design Management Project Coordinator will support the Design Area Manager, Design Sponsors, and Design Managers in project delivery tasks in conformance with Standard Operating Procedures including but not limited to:
Support the coordination and preparation of Department Operations Report meetings
Update and maintain regional project directory in coordination with Design Area Manager and Design Sponsors
Support and coordinate Technical Review Assessments in coordination with Design Sponsors and Design Managers including development of review schedule, attendees, etc.
Support Design Sponsors and Design Managers in coordination with the Area Controllers to monitor financials for projects. This includes supporting any processes involved in change order and/or notification processes.
Support and coordinate Design Fee Review process with Design Sponsors and Design Managers including development of review schedule, attendees, etc.
Support Design Managers during the project kick-off and mobilization phase
Support Design Managers during Project Closeout.
In addition to project delivery tasks, this position may also involve supporting the Design Area Manager with Area Management responsibilities including:
Provide general oversight and support to local administrative staff
Serve as a liaison between local KIE staff and KIE departments in coordination with the Design Area Manager
Help support and coordinate local/global initiatives focused on staff development, training, awareness, etc.

Base Compensation: $85,000 - $89,000
(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
