Senior Design Engineer - Mixing

　　Job Summary:

　　Senior Design Engineer will design, draft, selection support, manufacturing site support all activities of the mixers and will be responsible for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Customer satisfaction and be able to demonstrate

　　the design basis to the stakeholders. He will support both product engineering as well Chemical Injection Packages, wherein the product is used. Accountable for on time delivery, manufacturability & supplier

　　technical clarification resolutions.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Drive Zero harm culture of EHS standard and Sustainability transformation to support Ingersoll Rand’s 2030&2050 long-term goals. Ensure full compliance with Company and CountrySafety/Environmental Regulations.

　　Proficient in AutoCAD/Solidworks/UG NX to prepare engineering drawings.

　　Hans on experience in preparing General Assembly, Cross Section, Exploded views and

　　Isometric drawings along with converting to other formats.

　　Proficient in GD&T.

　　Extracting Bill Of Material with Material Of Construction and preparing product datasheets.

　　Hands on experience in Concept design & development, product design & calculations.

　　Ability to explain design and detailing concepts to manufacturers/fabricators.

　　Basic knowledge in Motor, Gearbox, Mechanical seal, API plans & Flexible coupling etc.

　　Productivity Improvement using Programming knowledge / Macros will be an advantage.

　　Qualifications: Key Competencies :

　　Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field required.

　　Minimum 8 to 10 years’ experience in Mixer design and manufacturing / similar industrial products.

　　Experience in engineering design software are a must.

　　Preferred working knowledge in O&G, Waste Water & General Water Industries and Food & Beverages.

　　Demonstrated proficiency in understanding the deliverables of the products for O&G, Waste water & General water industries, Food & Beverages, Mining & Power sectors.

　　To have worked and have knowledge in design latest software versions like AUTOCAD, SOLIDWORKS, UG-NX, JD Edwards etc.

　　Understand the scope of Engineering deliverables and its functional aspects to design user friendly equipment.

　　Guide the Engineering design & execution teams.

　　Participate actively & effectively as interface tobinternal & external customer communications on Engineering requirements and approvals
