　　*Position Summary:* * Under direct supervision of the Desert DiamondCasino- Phoenix Surveillance Supervisor, the Desert Diamond Casino-Phoenix Surveillance Officer protects the assets of the casino property,patrons and team members by utilizing surveillance equipment. *Thislist of duties and responsibilities is illustrative only of the tasksperformed by this position and is not all-inclusive.* *EssentialDuties & Responsibilities:* * Ensures all surveillance equipment isfunctioning properly throughout their respective shift. * Ensures thatall video logs and reports are completed. * Ensures all gamingirregularities are reported to the Tohono O\'odham Gaming Office. *Operates and monitors surveillance equipment. * Monitors and recordsall guest activity at video, table games and slot machines. * Monitorsand records all other areas by video camera. * Monitors all alarmequipment in the Video Surveillance room. * Monitors cash handling. *Assists in any internal or external investigations conducted by theTohono O\'odham Gaming Office or authorized Law Enforcement Agency. *Maintains a good communication with team members and maintains apositive and professional work environment. * Contributes to a teameffort and accomplishes related results as required. * Performs otherduties as required. *Minimum Qualifications:* *Knowledge, Abilities,Skills, and Certifications:* * Knowledge of Policies and Procedures.* Knowledge of fraud detection. * Ability to operate surveillanceequipment. * Ability to communicate, read, and write clearly in basicEnglish. * Ability to demonstrate outstanding guest service at alltimes. * Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety ofconcrete variables in situation where only limited standardizationexists. * Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished inwritten, oral, diagram or schedule form. * Ability to operate a two-wayradio. * Ability to learn all in house casino games. * Ability tocommunicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing. *Skill in operating business computers and office machines, including ina Windows environment, specifically Word, Excel, Access, andpresentation software (such as PowerPoint). * Ability to work in astressful fast paced environment.
