The Sec & Derivatives Intermediate Associate/Analyst is an entry level position responsible for the settlement of OTC Derivative transactions originating from trading desks and branch offices in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team. The overall objective of this role is to assist in the settlement and investigation of derivatives transactions

　　Responsibilities:

　　Support OTC Derivative settlements across various asset classes (Fixed Income, Equities, Debt Issuance, Muni).

　　Review and affirm upcoming settlements, perform reconciliation as well as review, research and comment all post settlements breaks in our Cash Management system. Ensure work is reviewed and prioritized timely with high standards of quality, productivity and consistent with departmental goals and objectives.

　　Actively work closely with Front Office, Middle Office, Treasury Capital Markets and other cross functional groups as well as internal and external clients.

　　Provide high quality customer service, ensure customer inquiries are reviewed diligently and addressed timely.

　　Ensure all outstanding breaks are reviewed daily; as well as investigate root cause and provide clear/concise updates.

　　Perform reconciliation of statement entries and Citi bookings, ensure outstanding items are assigned to specialists timely.

　　Maintain standard settlement instructions and contacts in the product processor, ensuring all additions/amendment meet company policy.

　　Ensure work is reviewed and prioritized timely with high standards of quality, productivity and consistent with departmental goals and objectives.

　　Engage in testing related to initiatives underway (process improvements, efficiencies, etc).

　　Qualifications:

　　1-5 years of relevant experience

　　Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

　　Very well organized, excellent communication skills, proficient in excel, database functions and technology Quick learner with college degree, self motivated, solid analytical and organizational skills.

　　Utilize good sound judgment, confident in addressing issues and must ensure all deadlines are met.

　　Innovative with a focus on process improvements.

　　Accounting background is a preferred, foundation of Derivatives (overall) is a plus

　　Education:

　　Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience

　　Operations - Transaction Services

　　Securities and Derivatives Processing
